TITLE: Data Engineer
Location: Fully Remote Compensation Range: 40/hr-45/hr CTHICS | Korn Ferry is seeking a highly experienced data engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, integrating it with multiple data sources, and ensuring that the data is secure, scalable, and easily accessible. You must be proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Snowflake database, and Python. What You'll Do:- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that connect with multiple data sources
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
- Create and manage Spark jobs on Azure Data Bricks
- Design and maintain Snowflake database schema
- Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing
- Develop and implement data quality and validation checks
- Assist other team members with Data Analytics
- Collaborate with other teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
- Monitor data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data engineer
- Experience in designing and building ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
- Expertise in developing and managing Spark jobs on Azure Data Bricks
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake database schema design and management
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data processing
- Proficiency in SQL for creating and maintaining advanced queries
- Proficiency in utilizing RESTful APIs
- Expertise in sourcing data from databases, files, and RESTful APIs
- Experience in implementing data quality and validation checks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
