Assume responsibility for design projects from conception to completion.
-Perform timely inspections of on-site construction work to ensure compliance with design drawings.
-Organize and schedule meetings with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure the success of the job.
-Define project requirements and schedule during briefing.
-Use computer aided drafting (CAD) and (SketchUp) to produce construction documents.
-Interpret and transform client requirements into schematic drawings.
-Recommend and advise the client on interior design factors, such as space planning, furniture layout and use, or furniture and color coordination.
-Research and decide on the purchase of materials and products.
-Inform the client of all material cost estimates and all project requirements and present the design to the client for approval.
-Research and explore the use of new materials, technologies, and products for incorporation into designs.
-Track the progress of the work, and report to superiors.
