Ledgent Technology is seeking a
Tier 2 Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide desktop, network and server support to a broad client portfolio in the tri-county area.This is a hybrid opportunity located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The first 90 days will be on-site in Fort Lauderdale. Beyond 90 days, this opportunity will be remote 2x per week.This is a contract to hire opportunity. Only applicants interested in full time, permanent employment will be considered. What you will be doing:- Provide technical support to a broad client portfolio in the tri-county area via phone, email and on-site.
- As part of a field project team, will be responsible for maintenance, installations, upgrades and set up of new desktop, network and server environments.
- Participate in solution design
- Server Configuration/Installation
- Workstation Configuration/Installation
- Hardware/Software configuration
- Migration/Cutover
- User administration for SSL VPN setup experience
- Network Management experience (tools aren't overly important but DNS supports D-Link, Sophos, etc.)
- Hardware configurations
- Work includes Firewalls, Switches, Multiple WAN Links, VLANs, Wi-Fi, QOS
- Server Management experience
- Server configuration
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- DNS, DHCP, File/Print
- Must have Windows 10 experience
- Must have Office 365 experience.
- Office 365 Exchange experience
- Office 365 Exchange + On-prem Exchange support experience preferred but not required
- VMWare administration experience
- Should have experience opening vSphere, looking at the servers, getting the controls on the servers and understanding the properties.
- No engineering work required.
- Should have experience deploying virtualized servers on VMWare
- Networking certifications
- Windows/Microsoft certifications
- VMWare certifications
- Backup configuration experience
- Audio Visual support or deployment experience
- VoIP experience
- Network Security experience
