- 5+ experience in IT infrastructure supporting Windows/Linux/ CentOS Server environments and virtualization – Hyper V,etc
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with strong focus on automation and Microsoft Azure
- Manage hosting plans for Azure Infrastructure
- Knowledge in implementing & deploying workloads on Azure virtual machine
- Strong experience with Production Operations and excellent troubleshooting skills, preferably in large environments.
- Experience with interacting with various Microsoft Azure services in production environments.
- Experience in Azure Infrastructure, Azure Active Directory (AAD) Integration experience, Migration experience, OKTA integration
- Have a good track record of using automation tools like Terraform to build infrastructure that scales.
- Strong knowledge of one or more configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet,etc
- SAML Federation.
- Understanding of concepts such as virtualization, containerization, auto-scaling, experience with GIT, CI/CD integration toolchains, building fault-tolerant solutions and fully automated systems’
- Good knowledge and are well-versed in BASH, Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with hardening of modern operating systems, web and application servers, databases and proxies.
- Basic infrastructure knowledge in Backup/Storage, Network
- Familiar with IT Service Management process and tool (Service Now)
- Make recommendations, justify, and implement improvements
- Vendor Management and collaborating with multiple teams across geographies
- Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
- Define, document and follow standards and best practices for systems design, testing, and implementation.
- Strong Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, skills; in particular, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally
- Experience supporting a 24x7 Operational environment, requiring shift support
