Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner and Busser to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Efficiently deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests with accuracy and speed.
Assist servers in ensuring that guests receive the correct meals and that all dishes meet La Vie’s presentation standards.
Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area and dining space.
Assist in refilling water glasses, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas as needed.
Provide friendly and attentive service, enhancing the guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
Must be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
