Experienced Litigation Associate needed for a diverse practice involving criminal defense, commercial litigation and white collar defense. The ideal candidate should have experience drafting motions, pleadings and be adequately prepared for oral argument at hearings. We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law and possess exceptional legal research and drafting skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide support to senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
- Handle administrative tasks related to litigation cases
Experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in securities law, immigration law, environmental law, or related fields is a plus
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
