Adventure Paddle Tours is looking for enthusiastic, active outdoorsmen or women with great customer service skills, for a part-time position as a kayak guide. Possibly a full time, year-round position for the right candidate. Tours are offered 30 minutes South East of Naples and Marco Island. Living in Everglades City, Marco Island or East Naples would be ideal. Adventure Paddle Tours is a year-round kayak outfitter that provides guided kayak tours, hikes and boat tours. Earning a position in Florida will allow you to work at our Colorado location too!
Recommended Qualifications include:
-ACA Kayak Instructor Certifications
-Florida Master Naturalist
-Bachelor of Science in; Zoology, biology, ecology, environmental studies, education or parks and recreation.
-Kayaking Experience required, owning your own kayak can help prove kayaking experience
-Must be able to tow a trailer
-Must be able to lift 60 lbs over your head
-Must be willing to work multiple tours a day
-Willing to work weekends
-Current CPR and First Aid
We are looking for guides that spend their free time on the water or in the woods. A passion for wildlife, hiking, kayaking or similar activities is a must. Adventure Paddle Tours is willing to reimburse the right candidate for continuing education like Florida Master Naturalist courses and captains license courses.
