HIRING BULLDOZER/BACKHOE OPERATORS-MUST HAVE GPS GRADING EXPERIENCE

MUST BE ABLE TO FINE GRADE WITH IN THE AREA:
M-F 6:30AM -5:30PM SOMETIMES SATURDAY OVERTIME AVAILABLE
PAY SCALE $18.00 TO $20.00 AN HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Basic Responsibilities:
Operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, backhoes/excavator, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, compactors, off-road dump truck, off-road fuel truck, skid steers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures.
Key duties/responsibilities:
Operate trucks or equipment of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various materials. The operator must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
Operates front end loaders, backhoes/excavators, dozers, graders, rollers, compactors, off-road dump trucks, off-road fuel trucks, skid steers and other pieces of heavy equipment
Performs required equipment maintenance and storage
Must have knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
Must have knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
Performs required record keeping
Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
Performs required equipment cleaning per standards and procedures
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment. Performs other related duties as required.
