We're seeking a CMM Programmer for a custom designed precision machine parts company in Fort Walton Beach, FL. With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right for you. This is a Direct Hire position PAYRATE
- Up to $25.00 / Hour (Depending on experience)
- Monday - Friday
- 1 ST Shift
- 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
- Sets up and operates Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to produce intricate and precise measurement of parts
- Program CMMs using PC-DMIS software including modifying existing programs or writing new programs
- Interpret measurement output through alphanumerical and graphical data
- Read, comprehend, and interpret GD&T, blueprints, templates, geometric dimensioning and tolerance instructions/measurements, and other technical data to set up and operate CMM
- Verify measurement conformance of part to specifications
- Provide machinists with template 1 st Piece along with process data to ensure part conformance and consistency
- Ensure the quality of the work performed meets safety, procedural, and engineering requirements
- Other related job duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma / GED / Equivalent Job Experience
- Strong mechanical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills required
- 2+ years of experience using PC-DMIS software, 5+ years preferred
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferred
- 2+ years of experience reading GD&T and Blueprints
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and proprietary data.
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to routinely maneuver up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to perform substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to reach, torque, bend, and kneel
- Legally Authorized to Work in the United States of America
