Description The TechStar Internship Program is a hands-on software engineering program that offers you the opportunity to jump start your career at a top-ranked technology company. Our interns write and test production-level code and are critical in helping our engineering organization achieve their deliverables. Responsibilities As a TechStar Software Engineer Intern you will be expected to
- Help develop cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of our cloud-based products
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software applications at the enterprise level
- Use a variety of tools including industry standard Big Data platforms and Web Frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
- Use cutting edge agile software development methodologies such as Kanban, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Basic Qualifications A qualified candidate must be/have - Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Proven knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms
- Ability to code in a functional or object-oriented programming language
