Property management company seeking a full-time maintenance technician with a strong plumbing background living within a 20 minute drive to Southwest Gainesville. Experience in and working knowledge of older plumbing systems required. Preferred candidates will have additional working knowledge of other apartment maintenance/renovation procedures. Ideal candidates will be well-rounded, experienced, organized, self-motivated individuals with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, follow through, and meet the physical demands of the position (lifting, digging, bending, kneeling, etc.). Candidates must also own their own basic tools, have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities to include completing work orders, assisting in cleanup of the community, taking part in emergency on-call rotation (1 out of every 3 weeks), apartment make-ready, and other related tasks as given by management from time to time. Position offers 2 weeks of paid time off and possibility of bonuses.
