Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) supplies represent a significant investment and one which is critical to the successful operation of our production facilities. The MRO Material Clerk will plan and coordinate all of the MRO supplies necessary to support the production operations for the High Springs site. The Clerk will develop plans for procured materials based on maintenance plans and inventory triggered reorder points. The Clerk will coordinate with Purchasing, Maintenance, the Production Planner, and Operations team to ensure the timely flow of spare parts and other MRO supplies to the site. The Clerk will manage the spare parts and MRO supply inventories on site including storage organization, cycle counting, material consumptions and replenishment, and kitting for planned jobs. Key Responsibilities (critical spares, consumable materials, small package logistics)

Material Planning
  • ? Monitor inventory levels of spare parts in the ERP system to trigger replenishment when inventory levels reach a reorder point
  • ? Work with the Critical Spares Material Planner US/East to monitor, provide input, and maintain reorder point levels in the ERP system based on quantitative analysis of historical or projected usage, assessed risk, and risk tolerance levels developed with Product Management and the Operations team
  • ? Collaborate with Maintenance to identify spare part needs in support of planned and breakdown maintenance events
  • ? Collaborate with Operations departments to identify consumables needs (PPE, manufacturing supplies, logistics supplies, etc) in support of daily operations
  • ? Collaborate with Project teams to identify critical spares and organize spare parts purchased as part of startup and commissioning activities
  • ? Enter purchase requisitions for all spare parts and MRO items based on demand triggers
  • ? Work with Procurement to coordinate inbound supply of MRO items and to manage supplier relationships
  • ? Provide recommendations and/or maintain ERP master data associated with MRO items, with direction from the Critical Spares Material Planner for US/Eas

Material Management
  • ? Work with site logistics functions to ensure accurate and timely receipt of MRO items
  • ? Maintain the MRO storage locations including putaway, housekeeping, labeling and organization
  • ? Manage the MRO consumption process to ensure usage is accounted for and is reflected in real time inventory levels
  • ? Perform regular cycle counts to validate inventory levels and take action based on results to improve the MRO management processes
  • ? Assemble job kits for maintenance teams based on planned maintenance to ensure efficient execution

Process Improvement

  • ? Support development and implementation of improved procedures related to MRO material planning and management processes
  • ? Support development and implementation of improved planning systems (MRP, APS)
  • ? Identify and develop on-site backup that can be to cross-trained to cover for absences and vacations

Required Qualifications

  • ? High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • ? 2 years of relevant experience in MRO management including supply chain planning
  • ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ? Demonstrated influencing skills to work cross functionally in a matrix environment
  • ? Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft office and Google suite applications
  • ? Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and operate powered equipment (forktruck, pallet jacks, etc)
