Job Description:

Job Description: GBAM Tax Operations reviews US and Non-US tax forms as well as other applicable, supporting documentation needed to onboard new clients. Additionally, GBAM Tax Operations teams complete Change in Circumstance (CIC) monitoring for US IRW, focusing on the global systems used by the Global Markets team in the U.S. and non-U.S. regions. Client accounts with valid tax documentation, must be continually monitored for changes in account information (e.g., change in tax status, change in address country, etc.). These changes, once identified, will be assessed to determine if they impact the validity of claims made on tax documentation on file (e.g., IRS W-8/W-9, Self-Certifications). Updated tax documentation (or other related documentation) may be requested from the account holder, validated and correct system updated once received.

The GBAM Quality Analysts role provides support to our GBAM Tax Operations processing teams by completing secondary reviews to identify inefficiencies, ensure policy compliance and mitigate risk. Quality Analysts are required to deliver coaching and outline opportunities in a professional and encouraging manner, while also being receptive to 360 coaching. Once acclimated to the role, analysts will demonstrate a working knowledge of our procedures and will proactively identify process improvements and escalate appropriate issues. Additionally, Change in Circumstance (CIC) monitoring for US IRW, focusing on the global systems used by the Global Markets team in the U.S. and non-U.S. regions.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Follows established written procedures and guidelines, provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations support function for one or more operations product areas. Uses established techniques to analyze and resolve complex operations support problems/initiatives requiring exception handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product/services specialists to resolve. May assist in managing projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products and services and processes coordination across multiple operations functions. Employees will have college degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience. Desired skills include: Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred and a basic understanding of and/or experience in financial service industry. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.

  • At least 1 year of supporting GBAM Tax Operations
  • Expert Excel knowledge
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task.

  • Ability to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders .
