Greetings! Humble beach family looking for modern day Mary Poppins (without the weird family drama). We are looking for a responsible, morally exemplary Nanny to look after our one son. The Nanny will create a safe, healthy, fun environment for our son as well as for our pets (including a dog and two cats). We are looking for this person to become a part of our family. We look forward to welcoming you with open arms and to be a long term part of our household.Â
To ensure success you need to look after children, pets, plants and the home environment as if they were your own. Preferred applicants are competent, organized and KIND.The mother (the current writer) is a contractor working out of the home. She'll be available for feedings and to provide breaks!
Our son is happy and playful. We do not have tv in the house. He's very engaged and loves to play with toys, explore, and giggle. There will be no driving involved.Â
Nanny Responsibilities:
Bottle-feeding infants and changing diapers when required.(Mother is breast feeding and will be able to feed at home)
Entertaining infant, keeping them warm, happy and clean at all times, and playing with them.
Read, play, play music, walk, sing, and work on flash cards.Â
Put the infant down for naps.
Performing household chores such as sweeping, doing dishes and children's laundry. (This is not required but a huge plus!)
Nanny Requirements:
Must be a NON SMOKER!
High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. (Prefer a bachelor's)
1+ years child care experience, including infant care.Â
Proficient knowledge of home safety and first aid. (must have CPR cert.)
Valid drivers license, with clean driving record and proficient driving skills.
Outstanding verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Affinity for children and pets.
Good moral character and pleasant disposition.
Physically fit, energetic, agile and dexterous.(We have stairs. Must be able to carry baby 20 pounds upstairs.)
Must be able to pass a finger print backgroundÂ

The hours will be roughly 7:00 am/7:30 am-2:30 pm. This will be 30-35 hours per week. This can be flexible.Â
