AIX Platform Engineer Remote Apex Systems, one of the Nation's leading IT Services and Staffing providers, is currently recruiting on behalf of a banking/finance client for two (2) AIX Platform Engineers. This is a long term contract role with remote flexibility. Candidates should have senior level experience supported AIX servers and demonstrated tenure supporting an enterprise Linux environment. Position: AIX Platform Engineer Number of Openings: 2 Location: Remote Overview: The AIX Platform Engineer will lead in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities. These resources will support a new AIX team who will be responsible for all AIX upgrades, testing of application deployments, and server builds, maintenance, and migrations. Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Systems Engineer experience with specific attention on AIX and Linux
  • Active Directory experience
  • Scripting proficiencies for packaging
