Partner with the best

The Senior Multiphysics Development Engineer is responsible for developing new product solutions through the application of Multiphysics simulation techniques. He/she will work closely with the new product development team and create generative solutions to product requirements. The person will additionally mentor others in the use of Multiphysics platforms to develop a broader core competency in the team.

As a Senior Multiphysics Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Being responsible for translating physical requirements into models for analysis and optimization.

• Owning the Multiphysics simulated innovation process in the Valves business.

• Providing simulation leadership to the engineering team while championing the use of simulation for fast cycle development.

• Partnering with Product Managers and Engineers to discover opportunities for generative solutions.

• Managing a culture of reliance on simulation for problem solving.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Doctoral (PhD) degree from an accredited university or college.

• Have minimum of 10 years experience in Multiphysics development.

• Have demonstrated expertise in COMSOL Multiphysics modeling.

• Have experience in development of optimized solutions using COMSOL Optimization modules.

• Have communication skills and confidence with presentations

• Have knowledge of structural design standards and global best practices.

Desired Characteristics

• Have expertise in Structural Mechanics, Finite Element Method, and Computation Fluid Dynamics

• Have comprehensive knowledge of process control solutions

• Have experience writing technical reports and industry white papers
