Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. Candidates need to be local to Jacksonville, FL.Supports the processes involved in releasing Finished Goods products. Performs testing on finished products ensuring conformance to company requirements. Performs analysis for special test requests to provide continuous improvement in the areas of quality, technology, and processes. These tests include utilizing analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, UV-Vis, pH, analytical balance, pipettes, and refractometer or other instruments under GMP/GLP guidelines. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.

Performs testing which include prepared and analyzed samples and standards per test method to release finished goods product to distribution. Testing to include, not limited to: HPLC, UV/Vis, pH, FTIR, analytical balance, pipettes, and other analytical instruments. Prepare documents, reports and maintain records related to testing of finished products via assigned laboratory notebooks as per GMP/GLP. Prepares documentation i.e., logbooks, instrument logbooks, notebooks, Empower CDS and Labware LIMS. Generates results and produce reports to present to clients. Knowledge of LabWare LIMS and Empower CDS is useful. Follow approved SOPs for service provide and perform all work based on GMP/GLP company guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Maintains clean work area. Supports laboratory in housekeeping, environmental, following all EHS polices for required PPE and waste management and other safety initiatives.A BS in chemistry or other science discipline is required. 1-3 years Chemistry or related field and/or work experience in a laboratory with a BS in chemistry or other science discipline is required. An ability to pay special attention to detail with degree of accuracy is needed. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required. Candidate must be familiar with GMP, GLP, SOP and ISO. 1 HPLC / Sequence per day. Repetitive daily duties will include: 1 UV-Vis / RI Sequence, 1 pH analysis, and volume will depend on workload and assignments.Equipment to be used will include computer, printer, telephone, facsimile, copier, calculator, Microsoft Office products, and company Software as required and others (e.g., Laboratory Analytical Instrumentation such as HPLC, ELSD, analytical balance, pipettes, UV/Vis, FTIR, NIR, pH, RI, Empower CDS, Labware LIMS).Physical demands will include walking, talking, standing, light lifting (up to 25 lbs.), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, and sedentary workApplicants must provide their phone number.
