Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, and wealth management.Citi Wealth Management (CWM) provides banking and wealth management services via our Citibank branch-based advisors and centralized service centers.The Citi Wealth Investment Service Licensed Associate will be responsible for servicing and supporting our internal and external clients primarily through inbound and outbound phone calls in a “service to sales” role. They will be tasked with providing best in class service on both Banking and Investment inquiries.The Wealth Investment Service Licensed Associate is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Key Responsibilities:Provides exceptional support and issue resolution to Citi Clients – all client issues will be owned end to end by the Associate and will be treated with a closed loop process.

Handles all inquiries/requests related to banking and investment operations – including placing unsolicited securities trades (Series 7 & 63 required)

Ensures customer claims and complaints are handled in accordance to FINRA and firm policy

Ensures that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to

Builds and maintains relationships with clients, Wealth Teams, and support teams in support of new business, retention, and client satisfaction goals. Partner with these teams to resolve client issues.

Responsible for keeping detailed records of open client issues and monitoring them accordingly

Builds a rapport with the Wealth Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors; utilize Salesforce regularly for communication of issues/tasks/opportunities requiring the WRM’s attention

Builds a rapport with back office staff and seek out highest level of support from those teams

Provides timely feedback to senior management to identify client pain points and barriers to exceptional service; come up with suggestions on process Improvement

Financial planning (Series 66 or Series 63 and 65 required)

Client outreach

Guidance on Account Opening (AO) and Account Transfers (ACAT)

Proactively identifying referral opportunities for: investment advice (refer to WA), planning advice (refer to WA), bank accounts (refer to WRM or one-stop), mortgages (refer to Home Lending Officer), and credit card online applications

End-to-end servicing: identify and resolve service request at first point of contact, if unable to resolve, open case in Salesforce and follow-up daily until resolved or work with your Resource Officer if ACW is required, and send escalations or dissatisfied clients to Resource Officer

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy,

Applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:Strong desire to create a top-notch client experience with every client every day; associates must possess a combination of excellent knowledge and superior soft skills

Open to receiving feedback on a frequent basis- continuous feedback will be crucial to the success of the team

Ability to support a diverse array of products and services

Ability to utilize a large number of Bank systems at the highest level of entitlement

Capable of working independently within established procedures and make decisions without manager approval; must also be a strong team player

Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a comprehensive understanding of activities, policies, procedures, and concepts of the work area

Understanding of multiple products across business lines combined with exceptional networking and relationship building skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience and knowledge across multiple functions preferred but not required (Banking, Cards, Mortgage)

Exceptional ability to find creative solutions for issue resolution

Prior Citiphone and Citigold training preferred

5-8 years of experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software preferred

Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred

Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player able to work without direction

US: Registered FINRA Series 7. In addition, Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) is required for CGMI.
