Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Landscape Technician to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping, a positive attitude, and the desire to grow with a small business. You will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks in varying weather conditions, managing multiple tasks, and using our company software to document work and client details.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance, installations, and other related tasks
- Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain
- Multitask and stay organized while completing various tasks on time
- Use company software to record work details and client information
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and contribute to team morale
- Show a willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to new methods of working
- Support the growth of the business while advancing your own career
- Willingness to work weekends when needed
Qualifications:
- Must have previous landscaping experience and provide references
- Must be drug-free
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have reliable transportation
- Experience driving truck and trailer (open and enclosed)
- Must own a smartphone
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to new software and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Professional, calm, and positive demeanor, even when facing challenges
