The Denzel Group is working with a top university to find an IT Auditor. This is a permanent position that offers WFH flexibility, great benefits and unlimited opportunities for internal advancement. In this role you will report directly to the CISO and manage/coordinate the update and creation of university security standards, along with implementation and execution to ensure compliance to various external security standards, audits, and insurance requirements.
Experience:- 2 years minimum of progressive professional experience with information technology audit, preferably with 3 years experience in a formal information audit position (i.e., Audit, Risk Management, Privacy, etc.)
- Experience working with compliance and regulatory matters such as FERPA, PCI, HIPAA and HEOA. Experience and knowledge of NIST, GLBA and GDPR.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification (Preferred)
- Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
