Position Description: CGI is looking for a self-motivated Senior Network Security Architect, responsible for data analysis, policy design, architecture, implementation plans and automation design. Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of demonstrated ability, able to function as an independent network security SME on the team. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with groundbreaking technologies on highly visible initiatives to the highest level within the Organization. Your future duties and responsibilities: Design and plan implementation of DB's Network Security Monitoring (NSM) platform to increase visibility of data anomalies in network traffic.Design packet capture and monitoring workflow.Identify and scope required network locations for monitoring.Operationalize NSM tools, complete bank application launch and approval process.Coordinate and plan sensor placement with Networks and Cloud engineering teams.Establish product support procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Solid understanding of general networking and design principlesNetwork Security Monitoring - Zeek / Suricata and other similar Network Detect & Response or Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention platforms.Network Security Tooling ImplementationITIL process awareness and knowledge of CMDB, change & incident management.Additional Knowledge: Unix, ELK, SplunkRequired qualifications to be successful in this role.
