Job Description:

Position Summary

The .Net Software Engineer will be accountable for building and unit testing of initiative and maintenance projects as well as application production stability for Legacy Consumer Groups in CSWT .

Required Skills

•-Works independently to develop complex .NET software components using C#•-Consults with team architects and development leads regarding code architecture and design•-Runs explain plans to ensure query optimization•-Develops unit and integration tests for automated code coverage of components developed•-Performs manual unit testing when automation is not available•-Analyzes legacy code in VB6 and C for conversion to .NET•-Documents and conducts code reviews of all code changes prior to user acceptance testing•-Participates in and contributes to Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story grooming sessions, sprint demonstrations and retrospectives•-Participates in production deployment and verification of releases•-Supports general production maintenance verification and issue triage

Desired Skills

•-5+ years .NET development experience required•-3+ years Agile experience required (Agile certification strongly preferred)•-Required experience: C#, .Net MVC 5, HTML5, .NET Framework 4.5, WebAPI REST Services, LINQ, use of ORM, stored procedure development in Oracle (or other RDMS)•-Preferred experience: WPF, IOC Containers, JavaScript transpilers, AngularJS, IBM MQ , Visual Basic 6.0, C•-Proficiency in JIRA•-Ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities•-Experience working on large scale enterprise systems•-Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
