Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville. Role will 100% REMOTE for the duration of the contract. Responsibilities :
- IT Data Analysts - Enterprise Test Data Management (ETDM) are accountable for the selection, assessment, procurement, de-identification, sub-setting, refresh, improvement, governance of quality, and ongoing condition of critically essential test data assets in non-production environments.
- This role is strong in leading test data efforts and providing technical direction for IT Development/IT Test teams.
- Maintains and ensures adequacy of test data quality enabling ETDM to effectively support IT Test Data Consumers.
- Engages with IT partners to quantify and articulate overall quality issues and assess the current needs and state of required test data.
- Defines and implements approaches for resolving quality issues in support of the successful attainment of target dates and deadlines.
- Identifies quality measures and metrics and executes internal reviews and audits to benchmark data accuracy.
- The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role and additional duties may be assigned. Provide ETDM leadership & Governance to assure continuity and reliability of data. 10%
- Prepares test data for de-identification (Masking & Obfuscation) using custom technology tools, procedures, and processes. 5%
- Executes data profiling and analyzing for to meet PHI/PII regulation and compliance. 5%
- Refines and validates data privacy rules to ensure highest quality, most efficient transformation of data from source to target, as well as from usage (applications & services) view and access. 5%
- Performs tests to ensure secure and accurate data transformation & data refreshes (Ad Hoc & Scheduled) between environments. 5%
- Analyzes data requirements for data requests (Ad Hoc & Scheduled) and validates complex data models ensuring ability to support requirements. 10%
- Creates/maintains scripts that identify/select records for data subset and the maintenance of the golden copy. 5%
- Executes data extraction programs, scripts, and processes to copy test data between source and target systems. 10%
- Supports requests that encompass the data scrubbing and preparation outbound data to external entities. 5%
- Maps data and referential relationships across the enterprise for reliable data movement & procurement. 5%
- Completes data mining and prepares code to support data extraction, movement, or de-identification. 5%
- Acts as key liaison for internal and external compliance audits in the review of privacy rules for test data. 5%
- Defines scope of operational initiatives and adjusts ETDM priorities to support workload. 5%
- Provides subject matter expertise, leadership and guidance to IT Development and IT Test teams and end users on information, data quality policies, standards, procedures, and processes. 5%
- Coordinates and documents exceptions to test data governance policy as directed by IT leadership. 5%
- Assist and support the triage of final release products to production and UAT. 5%
- Serves as a mentor and technical SME for IT Development and IT Test. 5%
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience preferred IT related field
- TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3+ Years Professional experience with the following:
- Sub-Setting of Complex Integrated Environments
- Quality Assurance, SDLC, Agile, Waterfall
- Interpretation of Requirements with respect to functional/technical specs
- Familiarity with Best Practices for HIPPA, PHI, and PII
- 2+ Years Professional experience with the following:
- Test Data Management Life Cycle, Test Data Governance
- In-depth knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems
- Demonstrated organizational skills and analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and collaborate as part of a team
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
- Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
