Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Remote .Net Developer/Production Supportfor a Contract to hire assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities :

  • Provide full-stack design and development of projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs / Microservices necessary to affect front-end functionality and/or be consumed by other partners.
  • Design and maintain API gateway proxies that provide client and internal access to services.
  • Participate in project meetings and agile ceremonies with scrum team and project/product stakeholders.
  • Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards.
  • Develop and/or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance with an emphasis on automated Unit and Functional Integration Tests.
  • Review test results and direct further development.
  • Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Stay abreast of software security requirements and technology, also supporting in the research and resolution of identified defects
  • Work with third-party tools in the implementation of a product and provide design, configuration, and documentation for support and maintenance
  • Provide, or guides provision of, technical or configuration support to applications currently in testing or production. Support client/product implementations and integrations.
  • May mentor or guide work of less experienced programming and development staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Supporting SSO application
  • SAML experience/knowledge
  • Identity Management background helpful
  • ADFS Working knowledge at least
  • C#
  • WCF
  • API/Microservices
  • Mainly Support type work
  • Agile preferred
  • Well-spoken is a must
  • Could be some off-hours for implementation (once a quarter roughly)
  • Ping identity, AD certs helpful, or just knowledge
  • Experience working with development technologies such as C# .Net, SQL Server, TFS / Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, JavaScript
  • Experience writing Net Microservices, and Restful APIs, and implementing in an edge gateway such as Apigee
  • Experience building and supporting .NET applications
  • Experience with Test Driven Design, Business Driven Design, of Domain-Driven Design, a plus
  • Knowledge of user identity and access management, authentication & authorization processes, and protocols such as OAuth and OIDC, industry tools such as Okta or equivalent, and an understanding of application integrations into these patterns
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with business executives and functional leaders, especially as it relates to operations and technology
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
  • Results-oriented, business-focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
