Modis is hiring a Full Stack Java Developer for a long-term (12+ months) contract position in Jacksonville, FL. As a Java Developer you will be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from gathering user requirements, designing and deployment. A brief synopsis of the role is listed below:
Responsibilities Work with development teams and business analysts to design software solutions Define client-side and server-side architecture Develop, design and manage database objects Write effective REST APIs Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design Write technical documentation Requirements Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) Java and JavaScript frameworks Familiarity with databases (e.g. DB2, MS SQL, MySQL ), version control (git, BitBucket) and UI/UX design Familiarity with developing REST APIs and web services, Swagger, Postman Modis takes great pride in finding an excellent match between our clients and candidates.
