RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Engineer I in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:In this position, the Engineer I will be responsible for managing 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects. Project engineering responsibilities span from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning and require continuous coordination with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers.REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience Great communication, leadership, and project management skills A successful candidate will have experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials A successful candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communications skills, along with a record of coordinating project stakeholders and mobilizing teams of engineers to achieve business objectives A preferred candidate will have experience successfully managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects is preferredThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
