Our client has a brand-new opportunity for a Configuration Technician to join their team onsite in the Juno Beach, FL. This role will be working the day shift, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 3+ years of experience and should have excellent all-around communication skills. This candidate should be able to work both independently and with a team. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:
- Unpacks appropriate CPU (Central Processing Unit), hardware and software and then installs each at default or to custom specifications
- Tests configured systems for appropriate functioning and troubleshoots for any errors found
- Completes all required documentation of installation including a quality assurance sheet to ensure accurate billing with respect to warranty contract, proper processing of defective products and timely vendor returns and reimbursements
- Follows client personal computer system hardware and software specifications based on the configuration services being performed and the instructions supplied (on-line instructions, config. sheets)
- Complies with departmental training certification requirements based on config, level by job function, i.e. Config. Level I, II, III
- Troubleshoots malfunctioning units using efficient problem-solving techniques and departmental procedures
- Researches hardware and software literature to keep abreast on new product / service developments and announcements
- Works with Lead Technicians on difficult to solve problems or configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve common mobile device issues with the end-user (iOS / iPadOS / Android)
- Troubleshoot and resolve Mobile Device Management (MDM) issues (enrollment, un-enrollment, device certificate expiry, etc.)
- Create, maintain, and make enhancements to mobility KB articles within ServiceNow (with direction from product owner)
- Create, maintain, and make enhancements to mobility Problem articles within ServiceNow (with direction from product owner)
- Review requested 3rd-party apps against current suite to reduce overlap
- Upload new 3rd-party apps to Mobile App Shop via the MaaS360 and / or Microsoft Intune MDM console while following established security and distribution guidelines
- Obtain / maintain VPP codes for approved 3rd-party apps through Apple Business Manager (ABM)
- Work with B2B vendors for B2B app MDM distribution logistics
- Track and maintain in-house iOS app certificate expiration dates through Apple Developer Console and coordinate renewal with development teams
- Upload updated / new in-house apps to Mobile App Shop via the MaaS360 and / or Microsoft Intune MDM console while following established security and distribution guidelines
- Troubleshooting the use of the iOS Distribution Certificate, Provisioning Profiles, and / or APNS certificates with development teams
- Manually supervise iOS devices via Apple Configurator when needed to ensure all corporate-owned devices are supervised
- Guide users to obtaining access to mobile application distribution groups while understanding Active Directory groups membership and structures
- Escalate issues to vendor and work through resolution
