RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Jupiter, FL that is seeking a Junior/Miid Level API Software Developer.
Summary:The API Software Developer serves as software developer and business liaison for designing and implementing larger or cross-functional solutions and toolsets. This position will partner with the development team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization to develop data driven solutions that build integrations services/APIs.Principal Duties: Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes and enhances existing or new integration services/APIs The API Software Developer applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and ensuring customer satisfaction Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems Designs, develops and tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames As an API Software Developer, this role ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation Performs other job-related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of development experience building APIs Integrations built using Java, Python, NodeJS Data handling experience with SQL is preferred Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM and SDLC environment Able to develop rapport and positive relationships to work as a team member and willing to work independently when required Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of setting priorities and meeting deadlines Excellent AWS development experience Primary functions include: Define and adhere to data standards, implement quality control, curation, and conditioning of data, develop data pipelines for integrations between core systems Experience utilizing APIs following industry best practices Integrations built using Java, Python, NodeJS is preferred Data handling experience with SQL is preferredThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
