We are seeking a full-time Night Auditor at Margaritaville Key West Resort & Marina
The responsibilities of a Night Auditor include, but are not limited to:
Reconcile all Food & Beverage outlet postings
Run daily management reports off of the Property Management System (PMS) and POS System
Make corrections and adjustments
Ensure all guest accounts are accurately posted with room, tax and any additional charges
Ensure the completion of all Point of Sale night audit functions
Distribute all close of day reports and morning reports to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
Perform daily backups on systems
Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly
Notify proper outlets when discrepancies arise
Provide check-in and check-out assistance for guests
Perform all activities in a professional manner
Respond to any guest issues or hotel emergencies
Work with other departments to ensure that quality service is delivered to guests
Qualifications:
Previous hotel or accounting experience
Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and excellent organizational skills needed.
Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions.
Knowledge of OPERA and related computer programs
