The Monroe County Coalition, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit with a focus on substance abuse prevention in Monroe County, has a full-time contractor position available. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Full time and must be able to travel in the keys. Occasional conference/training travel. A preferred applicant is one who is professional, reliable, organized, driven and proficient. Prevention training and opportunity to work towards a Florida Certification Board prevention certification. Bilingual is a plus. Interested parties may send resume to Susan Moore prevspec@aol.com.
Job Duties:
Working with alcohol licensed stores to promote safe serving signage, policies and provide Responsible Vendor Training
(Training is provided)
Community Level events promoting parent message No Ones House is a Safe Place for Teen Drinking, and other prevention
campaigns
Community Presentations, School SAC meetings
Support to our partner agencies through collaborative activities
Materials Dissemination Doctor, Dental, DOH, etc. locations
Planning and coordinating meetings
Department of Children and Families level 2 background screening and local background check is required
