As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will:

  • Understands the impact of department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure the guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Use all available on the job training tools to train new room attendants and provide follow-up training as necessary.
  • Ensure policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to policy.
  • Participates in interviewing and hiring of team members with the appropriate skills.
  • Maintain the highest levels of quality by utilizing innovative strategies resulting in the highest levels of cleanliness resort wide.
  • Ensuring the resort’s service standards are met every day resulting in exceptional Guest Satisfaction
  • Leading, coaching, teaching, developing, and mentoring our talented Housekeeping Team
  • Maximizing the resort’s profitability by utilizing financial tools and strategies to improve department profitability, control departmental expenses, and increase productivity

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

A qualified individual will possess a proven track record in a leadership hotel housekeeping team of a resort of at least 600 rooms or more for 2 to 3 years. A flexible schedule with 7 days per week availability, open to working any days, any shift, is a must. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Additional Information

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Valid Driver's License
