I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. The job responsibilities for this position are:
- provide technical support/system administration for enterprise security tools such as endpoint detection and response software, advanced anti-malware, file integrity monitoring software, email security and data loss prevention.
- serve as a hands-on technical expert working directly with development and application delivery teams to provide guidance on security software and problem resolution.
- participate in security projects and new security tool implementations to include requirements development, evaluation, vendor selection, installation, configuration, tuning, and creation of program and process documentation.
- must have a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other technical/analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- must have experience in IT security providing technical support/system administration for large corporate enterprise security tools such as file integrity monitoring software, file encryption, database activity monitoring, email security, data loss prevention and host based next-gen anti-malware/intrusion detection/advanced persistent threat software.
- must have experience with technical documentation writing.
- must have basic knowledge of at least one of the following: PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA requirements.
- continued education including additional or advanced degrees in analytical, technical, or business discipline.
- 3 years of experience in IT security providing technical support/system administration for security tools such as file integrity monitoring software, file encryption, database activity monitoring, host based next-gen anti-malware/intrusion detection/advanced persistent threat software, email security and data loss prevention solutions for large corporate enterprise,
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills including experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale, cross functional efforts.
- experience in project management and leading projects to completion.
- strong understanding of systems administration on Windows, Linux/Unix, operating systems including secure configuration of these operating systems.
- strong understanding of common communication and security protocols.
- automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, bash or other.
- one or more certifications in a security related discipline.
