- This position will manage and oversee a team of Architects with the following responsibilities.
- Provide immediate guidance to solution architects
- Work with application delivery teams for architecture alignment
- Collaborate with Domain Architects, Development, Engineering, and Security teams on solution architecture
- Directly manage a team of solution architects that will be customer-focused and driven to deliver high quality, secure solutions in partnership with delivery teams
- Manage project assignments to different solution architects
- Perform management duties such as performance and pay reviews
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or an analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in Information Technology, with hands-on experience in Application Development
- 7 years of hands-on experience application development experience
- 5 years of experience leading large projects and managing teams
- 3 years of experience as an application architect
- 3 years of experience developing cloud-based solutions
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and processing using Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with working with containerized workloads
- Hands-on experience across multiple scripting technologies and tools such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell
- Must have strong collaboration and customer service skills with a desire to work collaboratively with multiple Application, Engineering, and Security teams
- Must have leadership experience of technical resources, including Developers or Engineers
- Must have a servant leader mindset
- Experience in directly managing teams that provide solution architecture support
- Experience leading with development teams
- Hands-on experience developing cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience developing solutions that run in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience working with automation/infrastructure as code solutions such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
