Title: Network Technician (L1) Location: Lakeland, FL Contract HOURS: The majority of this work will be overnight (between 10 PM and 6 AM). Contractor will be REQUIRED to work 4 10 hour shifts onsite. No remote work. There will be initial training that will occur during the day, but most work will be overnight. Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and supporting wired networking infrastructure.
- Experience supporting wired network implementations and upgrades.
- In-depth knowledge of network switch hardware, software and related technologies
- Knowledgeable in layer 3 networking
- Knowledgeable in Cisco WLAN Access Points
- Knowledgeable in Check Point firewalls
- Knowledgeable with Cisco layer 2 switches (VLAN's, access and trunk ports)
- Working knowledge of DNS and related technologies
- Strong problem- determination skills and resolution experience (desktop and network troubleshooting)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
- Support the lifecycle of LAN switches in retail store environments
- Provide premier customer service while resolving network issues in retails stores.
