A typical day could include:
- Interacting with Retail Item Systems Scrum teams to define BDD scenarios, technical requirements, interfaces, implementation approaches for applications.
- Participating in all Agile Ceremonies.
- Working collaboratively with cross functional team members and product owners to determine the test scope and test effort.
- Documenting acceptance criteria and test specifications and managing test assets in Microsoft DevOps.
- Collaborating with team to create BDD scenarios for Mobile and Web UI and automating them in-sprint.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 1 year of general experience writing automation scripts using industry standard programming languages
- 1 year of experience with a test automation framework, such as:
- Selenium / Appium
- Postman / Newman
- Gherkin / SpecFlow or Cucumber
- RestSharp
- 1 year of experience with one of the following:
- Visual Studio Team Services / Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps Server
- Experience withone of the following:
- NUnit, xUnit, JUnit, MSTest, or similar test frameworks
- Understanding of C#, .NET, VISUAL STUDIO (VSTS), and OOP principles
- Experience debugging the configuration and integration of complex back-end systems
- Experience creating SQL queries to use in validating test results and setting up test data
- Experience working on team using Scrum framework or Agile methodology
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or DevOps
- Experience identifying the testing scope of a PBI and create API tests as needed
