Publixs Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. Our Pharmacy Technology team is looking for Mid to Senior level QA Engineers to join their team as they support the ever-growing Pharmacy business needs. You will work with software development and other QA team members on a new endeavor where you will use your QA experience to complete high priority initiatives. A typical day would include:
- Work on small to large project efforts on enterprise-level applications
- Work collaboratively with the team to determine test efforts for initiatives
- Participate in requirements and design meetings to establish test effort estimate
- Translate requirements, release notes, and other documentation into test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Manage test cases within Quality Center and Microsoft DevOps
- Perform testing and data validation utilizing SQL queries
- Build test data as necessary in preparation for automated or manual tests
- Participate in load and performance test efforts
- Present testing outcomes for review for go/no-go decisions
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience performing Quality Assurance testing
- 2+ years experience designing, developing and executing test cases
- 2+ years experience with test case development tools
- 2+ years experience with creating and executing complex SQL queries to support test activities
- 2+ years with HP Quality Center
- 5+ years experience conducting software quality assurance for enterprise applications
- Experience in Scrum/Agile
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Experience developing, testing, and executing automated test cases using an automated testing framework
