Join the Publix Technology Team as a Java Developer on our Clinical Services Team where you will be part of a fast-paced, agile team leveraging Java, Angular and DevOps. You will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and business partners to analyze and develop features to meet the ever-growing needs of our Pharmacy business area. The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, mentoring, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business partners.
- Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of software engineering experience as a full stack Java developer
- 5-7 years implementing large scale enterprise applications
- 5-7 years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
- 5-7 years of experience with Oracle or other SQL databases
- Experience writing complex queries using an ANSI-compliant SQL language against an enterprise relational database management system
- Experience in supporting large scale applications and root cause analysis
- Experience in an agile scrum environment, leading developers, and working closely with business partners
- Participate in 24x7 production support monitoring approximately 1 week out of every 6
