Publixs Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. This position is part of a team to develop and support the various modules implemented in the SAP system.
- Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of I/T experience in application design, development and delivery in an enterprise environment
- Minimum of 7 years working with SAP ECC systems with at least two years on SAP ECC 6.0 (Knockout Question)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working collaboratively with an SAP development team to deliver business solutions
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in analyzing complex business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least 4 or more of the following SAP Modules:
- (MM)Materials Management
- (PP) Production Planning
- (PM) Plant Maintenance
- (WM)Warehouse Management
- (FI)Financial Accounting including Real Estate
- (CO)Controlling
- (PS) Project Systems
- (HR/PY) Human Resources/Payroll
- (OM) Org Management
- (TM) Time Management
- Proven proficiency in designing and delivering SAP centric solutions involving both configuration and customizations for complex business scenarios
- Proven proficiency with SAP security objects and the ability to design and deliver highly secure solutions
- Ability to lead large and complex projects from requirements through implementation
- Ability to help customers understand their own needs and how they balance with the needs of Publix
- Ability to manage/leverage resources to complete large projects in a timely, cost effective manner
- Strong knowledge of system functionality and configuration
- Recent experience designing and implementing solutions based on Fiori / oData
- Recent experience designing and implementing solutions based on SAP Personas
- Ability to write queries against database tables
- Working knowledge of ABAP programming
