Publixs Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. As a Technical Recruiter, you will have a critical role in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the Publix IT Team. You will specialize in identifying technologists to fill positions at all levels across a diverse group of more than 1,400 professionals dedicated to maximizing the value of our company through the modernization and application of information technology. This includes:
- Managing the full life cycle recruitment process in a high-volume corporate setting
- Acting as a technology recruitment subject matter expert and partnering with hiring managers to understand business needs and influence recruitment strategies
- Developing and executing scalable recruiting programs and solutions to fill current openings and build a pipeline of qualified technologists
- Utilizing best practices in candidate experience and employer brand in recruitment, selection and onboarding processes
- Actively participating in professional user groups and associations to increase employer brand awareness
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years full life cycle technical recruiting experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a corporate technical recruiting role
- Minimum of 5 years experience using recruiting technologies to source and manage talent pipelines (applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, LinkedIn, Dice, etc.)
- Minimum of three years experience collecting and analyzing recruiting metrics
- Experience representing employer at career fairs (in-person or virtual)
- Must be knowledgeable of employment laws as they relate to recruitment and selection processes
- Must have advanced consultative skills and the ability to communicate with cross functional teams at all levels
- Must be proficient with the MS Office Suite, SharePoint and MS Teams.
