Duration: 12 Months Contract (with possible extension)

Role Description: The

Accounting Manager must have at least 6+ years of experience. Senior Manager of Promotions. In this role, you will oversee activity related to device promotions. No ASC606 needed for this role. The Debits and credits are pretty simplistic. Overseeing the day to day of transactioning credits offer a promotion and give them 300 off a device. Then try to Recoup some of the cost from the manufacture. This then requires a contract, invoice and doing true ups of the accruals debits and credits. You will manage large volumes of transactions organized and work cross functionally with marketing, finance etc. Would like to see someone with Increasing responsibility. For this role, you must have familiarity with using data is helpful, Sql is helpful we have a lot of automation to help us so just need to be able to understand the data pull.

Top 3 Skills: - Proven organization and demonstrating their ability to manage transactions or processes- Communications with cross functional teams- Strong knowledge of Financial statements and how activity rolls into the PL. Industry experience is not required- Large data each quarter we execute 100 device contracts and then 40-50 accessory contracts data pull up to 400-500 a quarter. We use Power queries and glorified macros for automation. They dont need this.- CPA is preferred and its highly preferred to at least be working towards it. - Degree is needed.- 6 years of experience is target but little flex if increasing responsibility.

Questions: - 6+ years relevant experience managing financial transactions and processes? Working with large amounts of data? Debits and credits etc.- Strong knowledge of Financial statements and how activity rolls into the PL?- Worked cross-functionally with various teams?- Degree? Working toward or holds CPA?

Must Have Skills (Most Important): - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.- Six or more years of relevant work experience with increasing responsibilities.- Experience in the preparation of general ledger postings and account reconciliations.- Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting best practices, and cross-functional accounting impacts.- Strong organizational skills with experience managing large volumes of transactions impacting multiple teams.- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Skills: - Experience with SQL.- Experience in the design and implementation of accounting systems and processes.- Proven management skills.- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.- Working knowledge of Google Suite knowledge of accounting systems and applications including SAP, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline, or related systems and applications.

Job Duties: - Manage workflow of large volume of contracts and invoices while ensuring accuracy of data and related journal entries.- Performing accounting tasks and project assignments utilizing a combination of systems/IT and accounting skills.- Overseeing the completion of analytical assignments and preparation of accounting-related reports.- Supporting leadership with analyzing, and reporting on general ledger transactions, and other accounting-related projects.- Coordinating with the other finance teams to ensure complete and accurate accruals and simplify processes.- Leading the companys efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley while ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.- Providing subject matter expertise on the application of accounting principles. - Reviewing the work of others and analyze the output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy.- Leading reviews for accuracy of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting classifications assigned to various records.- Participating in accounting projects to ensure compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.- Directing efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies for the group.

Education/Certifications: - A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is preferred.- CPA certification

Logistics: Shift: M-F, 40hr/week, standard 8-5 workday; during critical month-end close periods, may be asked to work later and possibly on a weekend. This position will be remote through June 2021. Date subject to change. Depending on your location, you may follow full-time employees return to office in Lake Mary.

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is preferred
