Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Orlando, FL - Hybrid

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Compensation: $58/hr.

Job Description:

As part of the Architecture and Systems Development team you will be working with Product Management and Business line stakeholders, to document business and systems requirements that support the design, expansion, maintenance, and operation of a target state applications. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Works closely with Business and IT teams to understand requirements, design and develop solutions using standard methodologies. • Collect business needs, drive prioritization of requirements and create design specification documents. • Analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations and work with the team to document/determine appropriate solutions, as necessary. • Works with product managers and key team members to provide enterprise solutions to specific business problems and issues. • Prepares and presents project BRD documentation • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team of Architects and Engineers. • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly WHAT A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST LOOKS LIKE • Consistent track record of defining product requirements and delivering successful products. • proven experience in an onboarding capacity and project management. • Strong interpersonal communication and social skills; ability to work across teams with geographically remote team members. • Thorough Office 365 suite experience • Experience with JIRA and Confluence as team and individual work management tools • Experience creating data flow and business process diagrams • Experience of working in fast paced Agile development environments is desirable. • Passion for user-centric design, efficient workflows, and innovation in the creative space. • Strong people skills, with distinctive ability to empower, motivate, and influence others without authority or a direct reporting relationship. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree in a technical related field • 3+ years of demonstrated ability as a business\systems analyst role • Proven track record of soliciting and defining business requirements, identifying, and documenting the problem statement. • Self-starter, strong bias for action in high ambiguity environment • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance PREFFERRED SKILLS • Demonstrated experience working with Agile Development Teams • Experience with JIRA and Confluence as team and individual work management tools • Experience creating data flow diagrams • Experience with BPM and business process diagrams • High level understanding of web based APIs (e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.) • Basic understanding and ability to interrogate databases using SQL (PostgreSQL and Oracle) • High level understanding of ETL, Service, and in-stream data processing concepts NICE TO HAVE • Experience writing RFPs • Experience with CRM and Field Service systems • Business domain knowledge in digital advertising sales, marketing, and publishing technologies • Experience with headless or web content management systems like Nuxeo, Acquia, Alfresco, Drupal, WordPress, or others
