Title: ServiceNow Back End Developer Location: Lake Mary, FL/Remote Long Term contract Minimum Years of Experience: 6 Years Description: The ServiceNow Back End Developer will be responsible for supporting the analysis, design, configuration/development, and deployment of ServiceNow and Platform applications. The focus of this implementation will be in the Customer Service Management (CSM), and Field Service Management (FSM), configuring workflows and dashboards in Agent Workspace. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Configure the solution based on agreed design
  • Perform unit testing of their code
  • Maintain clear comments and documentation for areas they built
  • Maintain awareness and compliance with code standards set by the client
  • Create design documentation for areas they have developed, with guidance from a tech lead / advanced developer
  • Escalate any errors, risks, or challenges found in the code (anything on platform not just Deloitte)
  • Build both Global and Custom Applications utilizing JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS
Required Skills:
  • Experience on a minimum of 2 ServiceNow releases
  • Experience with CSM/FSM, Agent Workspace on Quebec platform
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements of a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technology (e.g. ServiceNow, Salesforce) or IT platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and experience with module use cases and best practices
Preferred Requirements:
  • Ability to build solutions that meet the user stories and acceptance criteria set forth by the functional team
  • Ability to balance and optimize the development capacity of the team and manage team capacity and workload
  • Ability to deploy solutions with minimal errors and code and configure based on best practices, and mentor other team members
  • Ability to work across the platform (i.e. create Service Portal Pages and Widgets, Portal Themes, Scripted and Inbound/Outbound REST APIs, create SOAP API integrations, understand and script with AngularJS).
  • Ability to create: Client scripts, Server scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Business rules, Workflows, Import data, Notifications
  • Core Trainings: o ServiceNow Fundamentals o Application Development Fundamentals o Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals o JavaScript Essential Training o Certified Implementation Specialist
