Aerotek's client is a manufacturer of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy.Responsibilities :The assemblers will be working in their temperature controlled and very regulated production floor. They'll be doing bench-style assembly and using mechanical and electronic assembly to build parts.
They'll have their prints, tools and parts at their work bench, so they'll follow the work instructions and utilize the tools to assemble the parts together.
On the electrical side, they'll be responsible for soldering, building wire harnesses, crimping, wiring, stripping, etc.
Candidates should also be very mechanically inclined and know their way around bolts, washers and torque tools.
They'll also be responsible for scanning products and logging them into computer databases.
Qualifications:Soldering experience - IPC Training or Certifications in J-STD or 620 preferred, 610 is acceptable.
Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions.
