Summary of Role\: GlobalFoundries is looking out for a talented Cloud Business Analyst to manage our company's Public and Private cloud portfolio. The selected candidate will play a strategic role in Private and Public cloud portfolio governance and management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technology portfolio management, as well as experience with project/program management. The candidate should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share the knowledge. The candidate also needs to possess strong negotiation skills to discuss and convince stakeholders about the proposed solutions and ideas. Essential Responsibilities include\:

  • Manage Project plans in ServiceNow
  • Manage Cloud effort intake process
  • Apply Change, Risk and Resource Management
  • Evolve and apply consistent process, platform, and portfolio management practices across Private and Public Cloud portfolios.
  • Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure Cloud Architecture follows all applicable norms and regulations
  • Manage and optimize platform costs
  • Create, implement, and maintain cloud governance framework working with enterprise and solution architects.
  • Participate in defining and automating platform management and reporting practices.
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Proactively identify risks/gaps and define mitigation plans
  • Analyze and overcome program risks and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to understand Project issues/plan/new initiatives
  • Identify areas of Improvement/process changes and drive them to closure
Other Responsibilities\:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Qualification: Required Qualifications\:
  • Bachelors or above in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-8 years' experience with project and program management
  • Experience managing complex technology portfolio
