What will I be doing?
As a Grill Cook, you will perform cooking duties and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area/environment at all times. To ensure our guests receive the highest standards of quality of food taste and presentation Assist lead grill cook and managers in the day-to-day operations.
- Prepare food according to specs and stock and keep kitchen and all areas clean
- Assure that food area is keep clean and food is stored properly at the end of each shift according to health specifications
- Ensure that food items are ticketed and dated with employee name to ensure freshness and that stocked items are received and accounted for
- Assist in all areas of the grill
- Wash all work areas including refrigerator and utensils used and keep trash and boxes broken down and remove to proper area
- Assure all food is rotated and labeled with date, time and employee name
- Stock all foods in cooler and proper shelves to meet department of health regulations
- Record and report all lost food due to spoiling and over production
- Assist in stewarding duties: washing pots, pans, kitchen utensils, serving bowls, serving dishes and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen working area and environment
- Help conduct inventory when necessary especially on high cost items

- No experience necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Kitchen experience would be helpful
- Current food safety certification
