Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Integration Team (PIT) Director to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. The Program Integration Team (PIT) leader is responsible for a robust integration team that is accountable for driving the System Integration of all program elements and is a key advisor and implementer for the Program Manager on strategic matters of execution. Proven leadership on complex programs is a vital prerequisite, as this role is also responsible for ensuring the integrity of all program management tools and seamless integration of a broadly dispersed execution enterprise. The PIT leader position forms a fundamental linkage to the customer that places a premium on customer intimacy, data accuracy and clear communication in a dynamic and challenging environment. This role will be responsible for integrating all processes, tools and systems across the program to ensure operational effectiveness of the program. This position will report to the Special Programs Program Manager and be responsible for the following: Implementing baseline management controls to ensure configuration and data management integrity of the program Integrate all infrastructure requirements to include facilities, information technology, and processes, tools and systems critical to the program Manage change, configuration and data management process. Implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management Tool (IMT) that manage program performance an access program data Management of the Risk and opportunity processes Management and integration of program plans and schedules Managing interactions with the USG with respect to identifying early opportunities for investment in favorable program change At a top level, managing company investment activities such as Non-Contractual Technical Activities, Capital Investment efforts and Marketing and Selling initiatives. Leading teams of Project Engineers and Program Management leads to drive horizontal integration of changes and program level requirements As a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do. Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 10 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in Program Management, Program Integration Lead, and/or Project Management Lead, OR a Master's degree AND 8 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in Program Management, Program Integration Lead, and/or Project Management Lead. Must have at least 6 years of experience in a leadership and/or lead role Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years) Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Top Secret clearance, in-scope Current/Active Special Program Access (SAP) Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry 10+ years of formal leadership experience Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
