RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking a Business Data Scientist in Miami, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities include:Statistical and Predictive Modeling: Business Data Scientist will build complex statistical, predictive and descriptive models using data mining, machine learning and statistical methodologies, looking to understand/discover patterns, effectiveness of marketing campaigns, channel use behavior, customer profiles, customer attrition, among others business challenges, with the purpose of optimizing customer acquisition, retention, and activation as well as cross selling opportunities Responsible for development and implementation of advanced statistical, descriptive and predictive models (machine learning, supervised, unsupervised, classification, regression and time series) for business related problems, as well as for products and services efforts Business Data Scientists analyze, propose, and generate predictive and descriptive models and target customer data for CRM campaigns, segmentation, acquisition, retention, cross and up selling, and pricing optimization Must also generate a comprehensive customer view serving to identify business opportunities and providing the tools to support sales objectives Develop models to assess the relative value of clients and business opportunities in order to facilitate prioritization in customer retention and development efforts As a Business Data Scientist, you will conduct modeling and projecting data using statistical techniques, artificial intelligence and machine learning facilitating the discovery of complex relationships and providing reliable forecast for information required by the lines of business Deployment of models into a production environment for end users to utilize in a report, dashboard, and/or applicationREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar Master's degree in Statistics/Analytics/Data Science or similar Minimum three years of experience in developing Statistical Models, Data Mining CRM Analytics, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Data Warehousing DataCamp, EDx, Coursera or similar institution certifications in Open-Source Coding (or able to demonstrate coding ability) Minimum two years of experience in complex projects SAS Accreditation a plus Experience in the financial industry, service industry or mass market (CPG) preferredKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
