DNAworks alongside the Functions to identify and develop Hybrid opportunities andto develop people and process capabilities across the Functions and EnablingAreas to deliver against this strategy.Role:The Planning & Performance(P&P) team within DNA is seeking to hire a Senior Consultant role. TheP&P team is the strategic and operational finance arm of DNA and leveragesa deep understanding of hybrid economics and finance operating experience to:Support Hybrid investment activity
Validateinvestment opportunities by developing business cases for organic technology-basedinvestment opportunities
Providefinancial analysis to support Corporate Development s M&A process forHybrid-related acquisitions
Adviseinvestment owners on Hybrid economics, performance metrics and marketbenchmarks
Partnerwith DNA s Commercial Insights team to develop and conduct external interviewswith market participants in order to provide market validation for criticalbusiness case assumptions
Improve Hybrid business operations
Provideanalysis and advice to Hybrid business owners to help improve businessoperations and drive incremental growth
Createfinancial tools for Hybrid businesses to implement as part of their ongoingoperations (e.g., product pricing calculators, financial planning models)
Providead-hoc operational analysis and support to Hybrid businesses
Provide education on Hybrid finance topics
Conducthigh-level and deep-dive training sessions to educate business partners on Hybridfinancial topics
DevelopCommunities of Interest (COIs) around relevant Hybrid financial topics to shareknowledge and best practices
Providethought leadership and develop perspectives on how Deloitte should approach andevaluate Hybrid businesses
The Senior Consultant will workclosely with the broader DNA team, other Firm-wide functions such as Innovationand Corporate Development, and business partners within Hybrid businessesacross Deloitte. The role provides the opportunity to work in a group environmentwhere the team is dedicated to helping the Senior Consultant sharpen theiranalytical and business skills, learn how to think about Hybrid and traditionalservices business models, and develop executable strategies for newly-formed aswell as established businesses. The individual will be part of a small,high-impact team where team members work remotely the majority of the time and therole requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively tosolve complex strategic problems.Skills /Capabilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability that leverages structured, logical thinking (e.g., engineering mindset) applied in conjunction with a consultative mindset
Exceptional Excelskills with significant experience in building and vetting financial andoperating models
Good financeknowledge and acumen (both operational and strategic finance experience isvalued) with an understanding of financial statements, key financial ratios,and drivers of value
Strong PowerPointskills, with the ability to independently storyboard and develop messaging forsenior, firm-wide leadership
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, pride of ownership, and innate intellectual curiosity
Collaborative workstyle and able to effectively work remotely (with limited oversight) while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable whenworking with ambiguity and in an unstructured environment to introduce newapproaches and thought-leadership to projects
Prior experiencein investment banking / management consulting / corporate development / internalstrategy / corporate financial planning and analysis is strongly preferred
