RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Developer, Cloud Data Engineering in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities: Lead Developer will act as technical lead in the development and implementation of Data Engineering Solutions Design, build, manage and optimize reusable enterprise data pipelines effectively and in a timely manner Demonstrates effective working relationships with key stakeholders Lead Developer will independently solve technical problems Effectively coach, mentor, and lead other developers Lead Developers work under pressure, maintains composure and professionalism in a developing environmentREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or relevant certification required 7 or more years of relevant experience Experience in working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using traditional and new data integration technologies (such as ETL, ELT, data replication, change data captures, message-oriented data movement, API design, stream data integration and data virtualization) Experience working with cloud data engineering stacks (i.e.: Azure) and tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, etc.) Experience working with relational data platforms (SQL Server) including MPPs (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, etc.) Proficiency in SQL Querying and Programming Proficiency in one or more Object Oriented or Procedural Programming languages (C#, Java, Python) highly desired Exposure to Spark, Databricks, PySpark and Scala highly desired Exposure to cloud technology stacks (preferably Azure) Must be flexible and manage multiple changing priorities/tasksTechnical Skills: Deep understanding of Data Engineering Stacks and tools (i.e.: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, etc.), Data Engineering architectural approaches, Data Engineering Solutions, Software Engineering principles and best practices Strong understanding of relational data platforms (i.e.: SQL Server), including MPPs (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse) Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling patterns Strong competency with SQL Querying, Programming, and data analysisKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
