Join us as a Program Director for our Healthcare & Life Sciences Service Line to help us achieve our mission.Industry Solutions (IS) isaglobal organization of over 13,000strategicsellers,industry experts,eliteengineers,and world-classarchitects, consultants,anddelivery expertswho work together to bring Microsoft’s mission of empowerment– and cutting-edge technology -to life forthe world’s most influential customers.Weare on the front lines of innovation,workingside-by-side with customersto drive value acrossthe entirety of their digital transformation journey.We’re looking for exceptional Program Directors within our Healthcare Service Line to be responsible for the overall performance of the Customer Delivery programs, Scheduling, Quality Assurance as well as Program Coordination & Logistics.As a Program Director , you will be managing the planning and designing of complex Programs, proactively monitoring the overall progress, mitigating potential risks, analyse Program interfaces and Program critical dependencies and be accountable for the Customer Executive Sponsor and Microsoft internal Sponsors.ResponsibilitiesProgram ManagementResponsible for overall Governance of the program
Overall responsibility for the implementation of the agreed scope
Overall responsibility for the performance of the program
Represents the program at the Executive Steering Committee on a regular basis
Responsible for overall health of the program
Provide direction to the program teams and manage the work activities
Facilitates active and open communications with various groups
Facilitates business IT collaboration (especially important for decisions that affect business architecture and processes)
Analyze Program interfaces and Program critical dependencies between all work and recommend appropriate actions to the Change Control Board.
Ensure rigorous change control, registering changes for impact analysis and resolution
Ensure items requiring action are resolved in a timely fashion, reporting status and escalation as required
Chair and Manage Change & Risks at program level.
Plan and design the program and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate through the Program Boards or Leadership roles
Collaborating and Partnering with all project managers
Reporting progress of the Microsoft program at regular intervals per Program Governance and Communications plan
Establish and implement the program management processes through the Program Boards.
Drive standardization of project management approach, tools and templates for the assigned projects and/or institutes
Support / coach projects managers in applying the project management framework and using any of tools
Manages project managers’ tasks and deliverables
Logistical CoordinationDocument and delivery program Onboarding training
Document manage and report operations, people logistics, lodging and logistics
Ensure all people are in compliance for visa and Country requirements
Act as onsite point of contact for travel and cultural onboarding needs of program team
Manage all special needs for resource logistics
Ensure proper forms and disclosures are signed for NDAs, disclosures or waivers/forms
Maintain and report schedule of all people on program availability and compliance to onboarding processes
Program SchedulingResponsible for the master schedule of the program
Support project schedule creation by Project Managers
Tracking and updating of each stream’s schedules
Quality ManagementParticipate and contribute to Operations and Compliance Board
Generating all necessary quality management documentation at the program level
Collect and post Deliverable acceptance per Microsoft Policy from Project Coordinator
Holding master copies of all program information for audits and compliance
Define and report on quality KPIs for Program Boards
Review all deliverables per contract and document for delivery traceability
Manage and report the program’s overall quality and must work with supporting roles to define regular quality reviews and entry and exit criteria for quality.
Set clear quality guidelines in place
QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years’ experience in large scale Program Management.
OR Master's Degree in related field AND 2+ years’ experience in large scale Program Management
OR Doctorate Degree in related field.
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years’ financial program management experience.
Additional or Preferred QualificationsOR Master's Degree in related field AND 5+ years' experiencein Program Management
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annualbonusand stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles alsohave the opportunity toearn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
